Suburbia Turban

I still haven't gotten up enough nerve (or a big enough silk scarf) to do the turban look, but I wanted to wear a headband today since its 2nd day hair. I usually just wrap the scarf and tie it in the back, but today I wanted a little detail so I tied it in the front and tucked the ends in. What do you guys think of the look?

Sunday Night Dinner: Vegetable Meatloaf with Balsamic Glaze

Finished glazed masterpiece!
I had a night to myself Sunday and decided it was time to get back into the kitchen. With the move I had NO desire to cook anything and all of my cooking and baking stuff was (and is) still in a box. I was running back and forth from the kitchen to the garage (aka my storage unit) while making this vegetable meatloaf recipe I found on foodnetwork.com. The balsamic vinegar and red pepper flakes were buried deep down in a box, but I found them and boy am I happy I did because this recipe is DELICIOUS. You definitely taste the vinegar, but you also taste the ketchup, the herbs, and the red pepper flakes. I probably should have cut the zucchini smaller and I couldn't make the garlic into a paste, but it didn't matter because the overall meal was hearty and tasty.

Prepping all the ingredients

Sauteing the zucchini, red pepper, and garlic

I tried panko breadcrumbs for the first time!

Video: How to Tie a Turban 3 Ways

As I've stated before, I sometimes get very intimidated by fashion trends. This is definitely one of them, wearing a turban. I LOVE the look, but not sure how to totally wear it. I'm thinking I am gonna try this trend on a day off to gain some confidence in my look. Definitely check out the stares I get from some of the suburbanites up here and see if I have the confidence to rock the look on the streets on Manhattan. Have you tried this trend? If so let me know how you created the look!
